Sherrod Smith is a 6'1" left cornerback from East Palo Alto, California who transferred to Boise State from College of San Mateo. At the junior college level in 2024, Smith recorded four interceptions and earned All-Bay 6 Conference First Team honors while appearing in 12 games. In his 2025 sophomore season with the Broncos, Smith played in 12 games with two starts, recording 14 total tackles, six pass deflections, and one interception against App State on September 27. He posted notable performances including seven tackles and two pass breakups at Utah State on November 28, plus two pass breakups in the Mountain West Championship victory over UNLV on December 5.
