Ryder Swanson is a 6'3", 290-pound defensive lineman from Oregon City, Oregon, currently a redshirt freshman at Boise State. At Oregon City High School, he earned first-team all-state honors as a defensive lineman and honorable mention all-state at offensive lineman. As a senior, Swanson recorded 76 tackles, 11.0 tackles for loss, 9.0 sacks, four forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and an interception, also earning Three Rivers League Defensive Lineman of the Year.
