Matt Wagner is a 6'5" tight end from Prosper, TX who joined Boise State as a three-star recruit in 2023. He appeared in four games during his freshman year before taking on a larger role as a redshirt freshman in 2024, making nine starts across 13 appearances. In 2025, Wagner started 10 of 14 games and recorded 23 receptions for 246 yards with one touchdown. His longest catch that season was 28 yards against Notre Dame, and he scored his first career touchdown on five receptions for 69 yards at Utah State on November 28.
