Maddux Madsen is a redshirt senior quarterback for Boise State from Lehi, Utah. A three-star recruit in the 2022 class, Madsen appeared in one game as a freshman before playing in nine contests as a redshirt freshman in 2023, accumulating 1,191 passing yards and nine touchdowns. He started all 14 games in 2024, throwing for 3,018 yards and 23 touchdowns while earning Phil Steele All-Mountain West Third Team honors. In 2025, Madsen started 11 games, completing 176 of 302 passes for 2,333 yards and 18 touchdowns, adding 81 rushing yards and four rushing scores.
