Jake Steele is a 6'4", 302-pound right guard for the Boise State Broncos. Originally from Temecula, California, Steele attended Murrieta Valley High School, where he played left tackle for three seasons and earned All-Southwestern League honors three times. He was named the league's most valuable offensive lineman as a senior and served as team captain for the Nighthawks' league championship team. After redshirting in 2022, Steele played at San José State, appearing in 12 games in 2023 primarily on special teams. Following his redshirt junior year in 2025, when he appeared in all 14 games at right guard and right tackle and made his first collegiate start against Washington in the LA Bowl, he transferred to Boise State as a redshirt senior.
