Leo Almanza Jr. is a cornerback from Trophy Club, Texas, where he attended Byron Nelson High School under Coach Travis Price. A consensus three-star prospect, he recorded 29 tackles, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries as a senior, along with 45 receptions for 720 yards and 10 touchdowns. As a junior, he tallied 38 tackles with four interceptions while catching 26 passes for 518 yards and nine scores. Named District 4-6A Utility Player of the Year in 2023, Almanza also earned District Defensive Newcomer of the Year honors as a freshman. He redshirted during the 2026 season at Baylor and remains on the roster as a returning player.
