Daniel Cobbs is a nickelback from Fort Worth, TX who transferred to Baylor after three seasons at Kansas State. He appeared in 28 games for the Wildcats, including a redshirt year in 2023, recording four interceptions, 46 tackles, four tackles for loss and two pass break-ups over his final two seasons. In 2025, Cobbs played in 11 games with 39 tackles, three for a loss and two pass break-ups, highlighted by a career-high 10 tackles against Texas Tech and an interception returned 17 yards at Oklahoma State. At Fossil Ridge HS, he was a two-way performer with 85 career receptions for 1,131 yards and 11 touchdowns.
