Kyland Reed is a 6'1", 225-pound weakside linebacker for Baylor who hails from Arlington, Texas and attended Mansfield Summit High School. A three-star recruit in the 2024 class, Reed appeared in nine games as a true freshman in 2024. In 2025, his sophomore season, he played all 12 games with eight starts and recorded 50 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, two quarterback hurries, and one pass breakup across 606 snaps. He posted a career-high eight tackles in the season finale against Houston.
