Jamarion Phillips is a true freshman linebacker at Baylor who stands 6'0" and weighs 222 pounds. The Dallas native from South Oak Cliff High School was a consensus three-star recruit in the 2026 class, earning recognition from recruiting services, and DCTF. During his senior year in 2024, Phillips garnered 5-5A DII Defensive MVP honors. In 2023, he recorded 95 tackles, including 23 for loss and 14 sacks as South Oak Cliff reached the 5A DII state title game for the third consecutive season. He held offers from major programs including Ohio State, Texas, Oklahoma, and Notre Dame before committing to Baylor.
