Wilhelm recorded 36 receptions for 553 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior in 2024, and had 39 catches for 663 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior. He was a consensus three-star prospect rated by recruiting services, with ranking him the 66th best tight end prospect nationally. Wilhelm redshirted during the 2025 season while recovering from an injury and did not appear in games. He is returning to Baylor in 2026.
