Matthew Klopfenstein is a 6'4", 247-pound tight end from Scottsdale, Arizona, who attended Horizon High School. A recruit rated as a four-star prospect by recruiting services, he recorded 42 catches for 652 yards and six touchdowns in 12 games during his senior year. As a Baylor Bear, Klopfenstein appeared in 11 games in 2023 with three receptions for 15 yards. In 2024, he played in 11 games as primary reserve tight end and caught six balls for 62 yards and a touchdown, including a career-long 23-yard grab versus Tarleton.
