Michael Thacker is a defensive tackle for Ball State, standing 6'0" and weighing 304 pounds. A native of New Palestine, Indiana, Thacker finished his high school career with 339 tackles, 232 solo tackles, and 35.5 sacks. As a senior, he recorded 10 sacks, 33 quarterback hurries, and two fumble recoveries while helping New Palestine to an undefeated 14-0-1 record and IHSAA Class 4A state championship.
