DJ Young is a 6'0", 175-pound wide receiver and return specialist from Lafayette, IN, who attended Lafayette Jefferson High School. At his prep school, he recorded 911 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns during his senior year, including a 78-yard reception in a 55-0 victory over Muncie Central as a junior. Young spent two seasons at Siena Heights University in Michigan, where he caught six passes for 109 yards and one touchdown across 14 games. As a return specialist, he accumulated 792 yards, including 616 in 2025, and recorded a 92-yard return in Siena's season opener at Saint Francis on September 6. He now joins Ball State as a transfer.
