Cincear Lewis is a redshirt senior linebacker who transferred to Ball State in January 2026 from Cincinnati, where he played four seasons (2022–25). The 6'2", 227-pound Kalamazoo, Michigan native appeared in five games as a redshirt junior in 2025, recording 10 tackles including four against Navy in the AutoZoo Liberty Bowl and three at TCU. A preseason injury sidelined him throughout 2023, and he did not appear in games during 2024. Lewis arrived at Cincinnati as a consensus three-star recruit and early enrollee in spring 2022. He holds one year of eligibility remaining and joined the Cardinals with the potential to compete for an inside linebacker starting role.
