Mason Mathis is a true freshman left guard for the Auburn Tigers from Pace, Florida. At Pace High School under coach Vance Smith, Mathis recorded 68 pancake blocks during his senior season as the offensive line helped the Patriots average 296.4 rushing yards per game. The team finished 10-2 in 2024, earning Mathis all-district recognition. A three-sport athlete, he placed sixth in state powerlifting as a junior. Mathis arrived at Auburn as a three-star recruit rated No. 179 in Florida by both recruiting services.
