Hunter Herring is a 6'5", 235-pound tight end from West Monroe, Louisiana, who prepped at Ouachita Christian School. He played college football at Louisiana-Lafayette in 2021 before spending four seasons at UL Monroe from 2023-25, appearing in 20 career games with one start at quarterback. Herring accumulated 241 rushing attempts for four touchdowns, completed 22 of 42 passes for 251 yards and two touchdowns, and caught four receptions for 17 yards across multiple positions including tight end and wildcat packages. He also blocked a punt in 2024 and contributed on special teams. Herring now joins Auburn as a transfer.
