DJ Broughton Jr. is a true freshman tight end at Auburn from Mobile, Alabama, where he attended Mary G. Montgomery High School in Semmes. During his high school career, Broughton recorded 751 receiving yards on 46 receptions with 11 touchdowns. His senior season included 32 receptions for 497 yards and seven touchdowns. He earned ASWA honorable mention All-State honors and was selected for the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Game. Broughton was a three-star prospect ranked No. 23 in Alabama and No. 43 at tight end nationally.
