Trey Owens is a quarterback for Arkansas State, standing 6'5" and weighing 220 pounds. The Houston native joined the program after playing at Texas, where he appeared in two games during 2024 and redshirted. Against UTSA that season, he completed 2-of-4 passes for 19 yards. In high school at Cy-Fair, Owens compiled 6,411 passing yards and 81 touchdowns across 418 attempts. As a senior in 2023, he completed 222-of-313 passes for 3,303 yards and 43 touchdowns with four interceptions, earning District 17-6A Offensive MVP honors. He led Cy-Fair to an 11-2 record and a district title that year.
