Riley Smith is a long snapper for Arkansas State who transferred from Furman University. The 6-1, 205-pound junior from Odessa, Florida previously attended Calvary Christian School, where he played tight end and strong safety while also handling snapping duties. In his high school career, Smith caught 28 passes for 391 yards and seven touchdowns while recording 39 tackles and helping lead his program to 10-3 seasons as both a junior and senior. At Furman, Smith appeared in 11 games in 2024, snapping for kickers who converted 24 extra points and 14 field goals. He returned for the 2025 season, appearing in 11 games while snapping for a unit that converted 13 field goals and all 28 extra points.
