Josh Austin is an offensive lineman from Pflugerville, Texas, who attends Pflugerville Weiss High School. He was rated a three-star prospect by recruiting services and ranked 185th at offensive tackle by recruiting services. In 247 composite rankings, he placed 199th among interior offensive linemen and 307th in Texas. As a senior, Austin helped the Panthers reach the second round of Texas 5A D-2 playoffs while blocking for an offense averaging 118.9 rushing yards and 273.3 passing yards per game. He chose Arkansas State over Lamar, Southern Miss, and Texas Southern. Austin also competes in track and field. He is currently a true freshman with the Red Wolves.
