Cape Johnson is an offensive lineman from Wichita Falls, Texas, who attended Butler (Kan.) CC before joining Arkansas State. At Butler in 2025, he was rated a three-star JUCO prospect and the No. 11 JUCO interior offensive lineman by recruiting services, along with the No. 36 JUCO prospect from Texas. Johnson helped the Grizzlies achieve a 7-3 overall record and a 4-2 conference mark while earning a No. 9 NJCAA national ranking. The offensive unit he anchored allowed just 11 sacks and helped rushers average 192.9 yards per game with 5.2 yards per carry.
