Brandon Barnes is a safety for Arkansas State who hails from Dallas, Texas, where he attended Skyline High School. A 3-star recruit, Barnes committed to the Red Wolves over Arizona State. In 2024, his freshman season, he appeared in nine games and recorded seven tackles with six solo stops. During the 2025 campaign, Barnes started all 13 games and led his unit with 68 total tackles (32 solo, 36 assisted), adding 2.5 tackles for loss, one interception, and two pass breakups. He currently wears No. 8 and enters his junior year returning to the lineup.
