At Kansas State in 2024, he appeared in 12 games, recording 14 receptions for 160 yards and one touchdown while averaging 11.4 yards per reception. He earned Big 12 Offensive Freshman of the Year Honorable Mention. Spivey transferred to Arizona as a redshirt junior and recorded 23 receptions for 381 yards and 7 touchdowns in 2025, adding 2 rushing attempts for 6 yards and 1 rushing touchdown. He was named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention for 2025.
