Sawyer Anderson is a redshirt freshman quarterback for the Arizona Wildcats from Dallas, Texas, who attended The Parish Episcopal HS. A three-star recruit, Anderson was the all-time leading passer in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, completing 859 of 1,320 passes (65.1%) for 14,674 yards and 158 touchdowns as a four-year starter. During his senior season in 2024, he threw for 5,134 passing yards and 49 touchdowns, ranking second nationally in passing yards and first nationally in touchdown passes. Anderson also rushed for 965 yards and 13 touchdowns across his high school career. He redshirted during the 2025 season.
