Oscar Rios is a freshman quarterback for the Arizona Wildcats from Norwalk, California, where he attended Downey High School. A four-year letterwinner in high school, Rios completed 475-of-749 passes for 8,070 yards and 77 touchdowns while adding 2,227 rushing yards and seven rushing touchdowns. He was named 2024 Gateway League MVP and earned four-star status in the composite recruiting rankings, ranking as the No. 24 quarterback prospect nationally. Rios participated in the 2026 Polynesian Bowl and 2025 Elite 11 finals before committing to Arizona.
