Ezra Funa is a defensive lineman from Anaheim, California, who played at Mater Dei High School before attending College of San Mateo. Over two seasons with the Cougars, he appeared in 24 games and recorded 84.0 total tackles including 35 solo and 49 assists. He registered 6.5 sacks and 20.5 tackles for loss during his junior college career, along with two fumble recoveries and one interception. Funa committed to Arizona on January 29, 2025, and enters the program as a redshirt junior standing 6'2" and weighing 290 pounds.
