Owen Long is a linebacker from Whittier, California who completed his college career at Colorado State before joining Arizona State as a transfer. Standing 6'2" and weighing 230 pounds, Long led the FBS in tackles per game (12.6) and total tackles (151) during his final season with the Rams. He earned first-team all-Mountain West honors and third-team All-American recognition from the Associated Press. Long appeared in all 13 games as a freshman in 2024, recording 45 tackles with 15 solo stops in the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl. A four-star transfer portal prospect ranked among the top five linebackers available, he joins the Sun Devils as a junior.
