Mason Marden is a 6'1", 195-pound true freshman linebacker for Arizona State from St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Ladue Horton Watkins High School, where he compiled 419 career tackles, a school record. As a senior in 2025, Marden recorded 193 tackles and set a single-game mark with 25 tackles, leading Missouri in tackles for the second consecutive year. During his junior season in 2024, he posted 170 total tackles including 20 for loss, three sacks, two interceptions, and four forced fumbles while also rushing 15 times for 294 yards and four touchdowns. He earned All-State honors and Conference Defensive Player of the Year. Recruited as a three-star prospect and ranked No. 15 in Missouri, Marden joins Arizona State to fill a linebacker position left vacant by Keyshaun Elliott's departure.
