Kirt Vakalahi is a 6'5", 260-pound defensive line end from Queensland, Australia, who transferred to Arizona State from New Mexico Military Institute. Originally a rugby and basketball player in the Outback, Vakalahi is in his second year of American football. He was ranked the No. 8 JuCo prospect nationally by recruiting services and No. 3 among JuCo defensive linemen. In 2025, he recorded 25 tackles, 4.0 for loss, 1.5 sacks, a forced and recovered fumble, and two breakups. His brother Laekin played for the Philadelphia Eagles' recent Super Bowl team.
