Jessiah McGrew is a safety transfer from Florida International to Arizona State. The 6'2", 185-pound native of Tallahassee, Florida, attended Florida State University School, where he appeared in 38 prep games and recorded 104 tackles with eight interceptions. As a true freshman at FIU in 2025, McGrew played in 12 games and earned FWAA Freshman All-American honors along with All-CUSA Second Team and All-Freshman Team selections. He registered 52 solo tackles and 16 assisted tackles, intercepted four passes for 77 yards, and broke up five passes. McGrew ranked 27th nationally in safety coverage grade at 83.6 and posted a 12.9 percent interception rate, 18th among FBS safeties.
