Jarmaine Mitchell is a 6'8", 310-pound right tackle from St. James, Louisiana who transferred to Arizona State as a junior from Copiah-Lincoln Community College. At Copiah-Lincoln, he started at left tackle and was ranked the No. 1 JuCo prospect by recruiting services, while Rivals and the composite recruiting rankings slotted him at No. 3. In high school, Mitchell started at left tackle as a senior for St. James, which reached the Louisiana Division III Non-Select State Championship game. He competed in track and field and basketball during his prep years, placing fourth in the Louisiana 3A shot put finals in 2023.
