Wade Helton is a 6'4", 310-pound right guard from Corona, California who attended Centennial High School. A three-star recruit ranked 969th nationally in the 2024 class, Helton was named All-Big West Offensive Lineman of the Year and earned 2023 CIFSS All-State nomination honors. As a junior, he helped lead Centennial to a 9-2 record while blocking for a rusher who gained 1,200-plus yards in a team that accumulated 2,461 rushing yards. In his final season, Centennial posted a 9-3 record with Helton clearing the way for a 2,200-yard rusher. He did not play as a true freshman at Iowa State and was named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll. Helton transferred to Arizona State as a redshirt sophomore.
