Cardae Mack is a true freshman running back for Arizona State who played quarterback at Atascocita High School in Houston, Texas. He finished his high school career as the program's all-time rushing leader with over 4,800 yards and 111 total touchdowns (60 rushing, 51 passing). As a junior in 2024, Mack earned Texas District 23-6A Overall MVP honors after recording 1,864 passing yards with 18 touchdowns and 1,918 rushing yards with 22 touchdowns on 9.0 yards per carry. He set a single-game school rushing record with 334 yards against Dickinson that season. A four-star recruit ranked 341st overall, Mack was tabbed as a top-25 running back prospect nationally by multiple recruiting services.
