Xavier Griffin is a true freshman linebacker at Alabama who hails from Gainesville, Georgia. A five-star recruit ranked 17th nationally in the 2026 class, Griffin earned consensus recognition across major recruiting services, including top-10 designations at his position. During his senior season at Gainesville High School, he appeared in 12 games and recorded 78 total tackles, 12.0 for loss, and four sacks. Griffin also competed in basketball and received all-region honors. He selected Alabama from nearly 40 offers, choosing the Crimson Tide over Auburn, Georgia, and Ohio State.
