Caleb Woodson is a 6'3", 238-pound sting linebacker from Haymarket, Virginia, who transferred to Alabama from Virginia Tech. A three-star prospect out of Battlefield High School, Woodson was a three-year letterman and team captain who earned two Virginia High School League Class 6 All-State honors. At Virginia Tech across three seasons (2023–25), he appeared in 35 games and recorded 152 career tackles, including 11.5 for loss, two sacks, three pass breakups, and one interception. In 2024, Woodson ranked second on the Hokies defense with 72 tackles and two sacks. During the 2025 campaign, he played in nine games with five starts, posting 58 tackles and 2.5 for loss.
