Reese is a middle linebacker from Birmingham, Alabama, who joined Alabama as a three-star prospect in the 2024 class. He earned playing time in five games on special teams during his 2024 debut season. In 2025, he appeared in 15 games, recording five total tackles and four solo tackles while also recovering one fumble. Reese currently returns as a redshirt sophomore.
