Luke Metz is a linebacker from Hoschton, Georgia, who attended Mill Creek High School. A four-star recruit in the 2025 class, he committed to Alabama over Georgia, LSU, Michigan, and Oklahoma. During his senior year at Mill Creek, he recorded 79 tackles, 10 for loss, and six sacks while earning all-region and all-county honors. In 2025, Metz appeared in all 15 contests for the Crimson Tide, primarily on special teams, and compiled seven total tackles on defense. He was named special teams player of the week by Alabama coaches for his performance against LSU.
