Chuck McDonald III is a left cornerback for Alabama who stands 6'1" and weighs 197 pounds. The Santa Ana, California native from Mater Dei High School was a four-star recruit ranked 51st nationally in the 2025 class, with selections to multiple all-star rankings including the Navy All-American Bowl. McDonald chose Alabama over Auburn, Georgia, Oregon, and USC. In 2025, he appeared in six contests primarily on special teams while recording one tackle, including action against Florida State, ULM, Georgia, Eastern Illinois, and in the Rose Bowl against Indiana.
