Dre Kirkpatrick Jr., a safety from Gadsden City, Alabama, joined Alabama as a three-star recruit in the 2024 class. He made his collegiate debut against Western Kentucky and appeared in all 13 games that season, primarily on special teams, recording three total tackles. In 2025, Kirkpatrick played in eight games and posted nine stops, one tackle for loss, a forced fumble, and one pass breakup. He earned special teams player of the week honors from Alabama coaches for his performance against Vanderbilt. The son of former Alabama All-American cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, he is a returning member of the Crimson Tide roster.
