Mehki Flowers is a free safety for the Akron Zips who transferred from Penn State. The 6'0", 200-pound Harrisburg, Pennsylvania native played at Central Dauphin East High School, where he was a four-time team captain and two-time all-state selection. During the 2025 season, Flowers appeared in all 12 games with four starts, recording 43 total tackles (26 solo, 17 assisted), 0.5 tackles for loss, one interception for 24 yards, and one pass breakup.
