Austin Wondolowski is a defensive back from North Royalton, Ohio, who attended Holy Name High School. As a senior, he rushed for 291 yards on 39 carries and caught 11 passes for 238 yards while scoring 12 touchdowns. Wondolowski redshirted in 2023 before appearing in nine games in 2024, recording two tackles. In 2025, he appeared in 11 games and registered 13 total tackles (4 solo, 9 assisted) while serving as depth in the linebacking corps. He earned All-MAC Academic Team honors in both 2024 and 2025 and was named to the 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District team. A business administration major, Wondolowski is a returning redshirt junior for Akron.
