Matthew Schramm is a placekicker for the Akron Zips who hails from Dublin, Ohio, where he attended Dublin Coffman High School and earned All-Ohio, All-Region, and All-District honors. Standing 5'9" and weighing 180 pounds, Schramm redshirted in 2024. During the 2025 season, he appeared in seven games and converted 11 of 12 field goal attempts while connecting on all 11 extra points. He made field goals from distances up to 48 yards, including four successful attempts from 40-49 yards, and scored a team-leading 52 points. Schramm also handled two kickoff attempts.
