Brock Purdy is a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers who was selected 262nd overall in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Iowa State, where he appeared in 48 games over four years (2018–21) and completed 993 of 1,467 attempts for 12,170 passing yards and 81 touchdowns. In 2025, his fourth season of experience, Purdy completed 230 of 342 attempts for 2,569 passing yards and 22 touchdowns while adding 47 carries for 208 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. The 6'1", 220-pound signal caller from Gilbert, Arizona was twice named First-Team All-Big 12 and is the first Iowa State quarterback drafted since 2003.
