Background & career
Colton Dowell is a 6'3" right wide receiver from Lebanon, Tennessee, who played college football at Tennessee-Martin. The Titans selected him in the seventh round (228th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft. Over three seasons, Dowell appeared in 10 games with the Titans (2023–25) and Ravens (2025), recording one reception for three yards. He spent time on Baltimore's practice squad in 2025 before being released on October 25. Dowell now enters his fourth season with the 49ers.
