Zach Wood is a long snapper in his tenth season with the New Orleans Saints. Signed by Dallas as an undrafted rookie free agent in May 2016, Wood joined New Orleans prior to the 2017 season opener and has since appeared in 149 consecutive regular-season games along with seven playoff contests. He recorded two special teams tackles in 2025 while handling long snapping duties in all 17 games, extending his streak of action in every contest to nine consecutive seasons. Wood was elected team captain by his teammates for the third straight year and has accumulated 12 career coverage tackles. A SMU product who started 33-of-43 college games, Wood ranks tied for 15th in Saints history in games played.
