Hunter Dekkers is a quarterback from Hawarden, Iowa, who played three seasons at Iowa State before finishing his college career at Iowa Western in 2024. At Iowa Western, he completed 288-of-449 passes for 3,806 yards with 32 touchdowns, setting a school record and leading the Reivers to a #2 final national ranking in the NJCAA. Dekkers signed with the New Orleans Saints in May 2025 and spent the season on the practice squad, including a stint on practice squad Injured Reserve. In spring 2025, he appeared in five games for the UFL's Houston Gamblers, completing 69-of-112 passes for 749 yards with three passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns.
