Bryce Baringer is a punter for the New England Patriots who was drafted in the sixth round (192nd overall) in 2023 after a decorated college career at Michigan State. In 2024, he posted 70 punts for 3,486 yards and a 49.8-yard average, the highest in team history and fourth in the NFL. He recorded 31 punts inside the 20-yard line that season. Through 2025, Baringer has four career punts of at least 70 yards, the most by any Patriots punter since 2000. His path to the NFL was unconventional—he walked on at Illinois before transferring to Michigan State, where he earned a scholarship and became a consensus All-American in 2022.
