Background & career

Bayron Matos is a right tackle standing 6'7" and weighing 291 pounds with two years of NFL experience. Originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he played college basketball at New Mexico (2019-21) and South Florida (2021-22) before joining the Dolphins as a free agent in May 2024. Matos spent the 2024 season on Miami's practice squad and participated in the team's 2025 offseason program and training camp. The Colts signed him to a Reserve/Future contract on January 5, 2026, after he had been waived by the Dolphins in early September 2025.
