Colby Sorsdal is a 6'6", 305-pound left guard for the Detroit Lions with three years of NFL experience. Detroit selected him in the fifth round (152nd overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft from William & Mary, making him the highest-selected player from the program since 2013. As a rookie in 2023, Sorsdal appeared in 16 games with three starts, including his first career start at right guard on October 30 against the Raiders. At William & Mary, he started all 46 games over five seasons (2018–2022), the fourth-most in program history. In 2022, he started all 13 games and earned First-Team FCS All-American honors while posting an 89.2 run-blocking grade.
