Howard Cross III is a defensive lineman for the Cincinnati Bengals who joined the team as a college free agent in May 2025. The 6'1", 288-pound prospect completed a six-year college career at Notre Dame (2019-24), recording 169 tackles, 19.5 TFLs, and 11 sacks across 65 games with 35 starts. In his final season, he started 13 games and earned second-team All-American honors from both the FWAA and AP. During his 2025 rookie season, Cross appeared in four games, accumulating four tackles and one forced fumble. He spent most of the season on Cincinnati's practice squad before signing a Reserve/Future contract in January 2026.
